Following on from yesterday’s news that midfielder Josh Messer has signed a contract with the club for the upcoming campaign, we are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Greg Hartley has followed suit. This is seen as a massive coup for the club and know that players and fans alike will be greatly encouraged by this news.

Hartley, who joined the club at the end of December, made 26 appearances for Colls last season. An immediate turnaround in form followed and Michael Clegg’s side soon became one of the leanest defences in the division, losing just four of the matches that Hartley has featured in.

Based in Manchester, Hartley claimed the FA Youth Cup with Manchester City in 2008 before heading off to America where he enjoyed a successful stint at Chattanooga FC in the National Premier Soccer League.
