Following the success of last season’s pre-season friendly game against the Bolton Wanderers Development Squad, Atherton Collieries are pleased to confirm that on Saturday 2nd July the Bolton Wanderers First Team will be gracing the sacred Alder House surface in what will be the opening fixture in this centenary season for the Collieries. This game is set to be Phil Parkinson’s first as new Bolton manager so will hold special significance for many Trotters fans and Parkinson individually. As always away fans will be made to feel more than welcome and the Club will endeavour to ensure that logistically and off the field the day will be just as successful. Like last year, tickets will be available to purchase in advance – Adults £6.00 and Concessions (including students) £4.00. The selling arrangements are yet to be confirmed. More information is set to be released shortly.
