The club are now able to offer coach travel to the much anticipated Atherton Collieries Jolly Boys Outing. This will be the sixth outing in what is fast becoming one of the most talked about Colls away days of the year.In previous years we have travelled to Holyhead Hotspur, Sunderland RCA, Llay Welfare, Glantraeth and of course who could forget last years journey to Whitley Bay?Following the success of our coach trip to the Staffordshire town of Eccleshall in the league last season we are heading there again. Around 80 players, coaches and supporters spent the day in Eccleshall where a number of local pubs were taken over by the Colls Crazy Gang and the Barmy Army. This time around, departure will be at 10:30 in time for a 13:30 kick off. Fans will have the option of being dropped off in Eccleshall town centre where they can pick from a range of pubs to drink in before making their own way to the ground. After the match, it is expected the coach will depart from the town centre at around 20:30. This allows fans and players to drink together in the local pubs before setting off for home. Everybody is then invited to head back to the Rope & Anchor in Atherton for a few drinks.Due to the expected high demand of places on the coach please book yourself on the coach as soon as possible. If we do run out of space, but demand continues to be high we will be able to upgrade the coach and take more people along with us.To book yourself on the coach, please tweet @ACFC1916 or ring Joe on 07909111992. Alternatively, there will be a signing up sheet pinned up on the notice board in the clubhouse at the Tempest United match on Monday night.
