Destination: West Didsbury & Chorlton

It’s back! On Saturday the NWCFL returns as the Collieries make the journey to West Didsbury & Chorlton in what will be their first appearance in the Premier Division for six seasons. The last time the two sides met came on Monday April 22nd 2013, both clubs stood a good chance of promotion out of the First Division before the game, after, the winner would have the better opportunity of the two. West ran out 2-0 winners thanks to an own goal and a Gareth Thomas finish, they went on to achieve promotion come the end of the season. Atherton go into this season on the back of promotion from the First Division whereas, West Didsbury & Chorlton finished in a solid 16th spot last season.
