The first step along the Road to Wembley has been made as the early round draws are unveiled for four of our major FA competitions. The Emirates FA Cup will kick-off with the Extra Preliminary Round on the weekend of 15 August with 736 clubs all dreaming of a date under the arch on Saturday 21 May next year. Atherton Collieries have been drawn against fellow NWCFL Premier Division side Bootle in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round. Should Colls progress they will travel to higher opposition in Evo-Stik Division 1 North side Brighouse Town.
