The League Management Committee can give the following update with regard to fixtures for season 2016-17. No fixtures will be available for release until week commencing Monday 11th July at the earliest. The reason for this is that the draw for the opening rounds of the FA Cup and FA Vase will not be released by the FA until Friday 8th July. The season will commence on Saturday 6th August as announced previously, with Premier Division clubs and some Division One clubs playing FA Cup ties. Those clubs not involved in FA Cup ties will be allocated League fixtures. The draws for the opening rounds of the Macron Challenge Cup and the Reusch First Division Trophy will be made within the next few weeks, at the next available League meeting, once the outcome of Rochdale Town's appeal to the FA to retain their place in the League is known.
