Jack Egan Joins Colls

With just two weeks to go until the start of the Northern Premier League season, we are delighted to finally announce the signing of 20 year old midfielder Jack Egan.  Eagle eyed fans will have spotted Jack during pre-season, including the Altrincham game (pictured above). Jack was a professional at Carlisle United, making his first team debut in October 2018 at the Stadium of Light in the EFL Trophy before joining Witton Albion in March. During his time at Carlisle he also had loan spells at Workington and Clitheroe. Speaking about Jack, manager Micheal Clegg said: “Jack has been a big hit with all the staff and the players during pre-season. He has had a little injury and this is why we haven’t seen so much of him, but on the training ground he has been fantastic.” Meanwhile, leaving Colls and returning to his previous club Irlam is Marcus Perry. We would also like to thank Marcus for his efforts during his short time at the club. He’s a fantastic lad and we wish him all the best at Irlam this season. Photo: David Featherstone
