Atherton Collieries can announce that Jonathan Hurst has left the club. The young striker joined Colls at the beginning of last season from Stockport County following the pre-season friendly between the two sides. In total Hurst made seven competitive appearances, scoring one goal in the process. He was also part of the side that reached the Bolton Hospital Cup Final, notably putting in a man of the match performance against Ladybridge in the semi-final. We would like to thank Jonathan for his efforts last campaign and wish him all the best for the future.
