We are delighted to announce the arrival of Jordan Boon on a youth loan from Bolton Wanderers.
The defender started the season in Bolton's first team, making 3 league appearances in August for the Whites, along with other youth players as they valiantly represented the club.
Jordan spent part of last season at Northwich Victoria where he played with manager Brad Cooke.
Speaking to us earlier, Jordan said:
"The loan came about with Brad being my captain at Vics, he saw my potential there when playing with him, he liked the way I played with confidence and looking to start things off from the back to build the attack!!"
"The start of the season was a tough one with the situation at Bolton, but me and the lads gave it everything and all we could for the fans and the club, although most of us got a few games under our belts and made debuts, it was very tough. But it gave us more confidence going back into our age groups, staying training with the first team and among the pros that have come in. It has improved my game, learning things from them!"
"My objectives are to come and enjoy my football and get playing time, and to also experience a different league and the style of play to test myself, I also look to aim to get Colls up the table and hopefully make the play offs, I can’t wait to get started!"
Jordan will be in the squad that travels to Whitby Town tomorrow subject to clearance from the league.
We'd like to thank Bolton Wanderers for their assistance. Welcome Jordan!
