We are delighted to announce a partnership with local company Kenny Waste Management who are sponsoring our management and playing staff interviews on social media.
A 35 year old company, employing 300 people across 2 sites, including one on Coal Pit Lane in the town, Kenny Waste Management will be assisting the club in segregating waste, diverting from landfill and recycling whilst also reducing our costs. Our joint goal is epitomised by their motto – RECOVER, DIVERT FROM LANDFILL, RECYCLE.
Any waste that can’t be reused is converted into RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) in Manchester to produce energy for the National Grid, avoiding the production of methane gas or the massive carbon footprint from sending waste abroad.
We spoke with Business Development Manager Ben Swindells and Commercial Sales Manager Mark Millington, they see their growing company and our growing club as an ideal partnership, “we are very impressed by Colls’ media image and the professionalism, Colls are like a professional club”.
