Lewis Nightingale Joins Promotion Push

Colls have today further strengthened their attacking options by bringing in midfielder Lewis Nightingale from Trafford FC. Lewis has a wealth of experience in the division, having made the divisional team of the year as recently as 2017. Last season he was part of the Bamber Bridge team that won promotion to the Evo-Stik Premier Division. Lewis also has experience with Bradford Park Avenue, Harrogate Railway, Curzon Ashton, Mossley, Darlington and Farsley Celtic. Speaking about the move, Lewis said: “Having spoken to Cleggy it was an easy decision to come and be part of the club. It’s clearly going places and whenever I’ve come up against them they’ve played free flowing attacking football which excites me. I’m very much looking forward to being a part of it and helping the club achieve promotion.” Manager Micheal Clegg added: “Lewis is a talented lad who knows what this level is all about. When someone like him becomes available you have to throw your hat in the ring. The attacking threat we have in the squad now is frightening. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play."
