Match Preview: Bamber Bridge (A)

Your Atherton Collieries are back on the road for the second time in five days this Saturday as we travel to the Sir Tom Finney Stadium to take on Bamber Bridge in the Northern Premier League.

Bamber Bridge were victorious their last time out as they travelled to the Northeast to take on Morpeth Town, that victory halted a slide for The Brig which sees them 20th in the form table having suffered heavy defeats at hands of both Marine and Radcliffe.

The Colls are looking to build upon a great performance against Radcliffe which saw the league leaders require two late goals to snatch a draw, David Chadwick’s men are currently 19th in the form table but performances throughout the recent spell have been encouraging for all to see.

The Brig’s top goal scorer this season is Harry Scarborough, the om-loan Chorley forward has already netted against the Colls this season during our 2-1 defeat at the Skuna Stadium earlier this season. The forward is a live wire who will surely aim to add to his seven league goals this season.
