Atherton Collieries head to Morpeth on Saturday 2nd December, aiming to break a duck which has led to the Colls so far never recording a point nor goal at Craik Park.
The hosts go into Saturday’s game with two wins from their last five league matches, and currently sit 13th in the league table after their defeat at Hyde United last Saturday.
The Collieries travel to Craik Park on a run of five consecutive defeats, aiming to break their poor run of form with victory in the North East, though have been unfortunate not to turn recent competitive performances into goals and points on the board.
Morpeth’s danger man this season has been Andrew Johnson, the former Spennymoor Town man has vast amount of experience at non-league level with various clubs and boasts nine goals this season for the Highwaymen.
Colls fans will likely also recognise stopper Dan Lowson, who has been a regular thorn in the side with multiple man of the match appearances across our recent encounters.
Your support as the lads look to turn performances into vital results will be much appreciated by all at the club!
