Atherton Collieries have bolstered their frontline with the addition of Adam Haw, a 20-year old forward who joins on loan from Guiseley. Adam has been near ever-present for the Lions so far this campaign, playing in 35 out of the club's 40 matches, though has primarily been utilised as an impact substitute, scoring 5 goals whilst making 9 starts.
The Guiseley academy graduate has been in good form since the turn of the year, netting twice in his last five appearances, with goals against Hyde and Stafford.
The talented youngster made his debut for Guiseley in the National League North in the 2020-21 campaign, making a total of 31 appearances for the Lions over two seasons in the division as he established himself following a key role within a successful Guiseley academy set-up.
Further senior experience has also been gained through a short loan spell at Mickleover, and Adam has played against the Colls on two prior occasions.
Adam already boasts some strong connections to his new squad, re-joining former team-mates Ollie Brown and Bailey Thompson at the Skuna Stadium.
Speaking on the addition, manager Brad Cooke adds:
"Adam is a player that first caught my eye when I went watching Guiseley earlier in the season, he was the best player on the pitch. I didn't think he would become available for us, but things change quickly in football and we took the opportunity. Adam will add quality at the top end of the pitch, he is a really good signing for us!"
