We would like to welcome Adam Rooney to the Skuna Stadium, who joins the Colls from Trafford. Adam Rooney made his non-league breakthrough with Skelmersdale United, before going onto a successful three year stint at Cammell Laird. In 2019-20, the center-half made 24 appearances for Droylsden, and has since make 47 appearances with 3 goals for his most recent club, Trafford.
Described as a no-nonsense center-half by some, the 24-year old has been a popular player throughout his career, winning various personal accolades as he has climbed the non-league ladder.
Speaking on the addition, assistant manager Rob Sadler said:
"Adam was a player we were alerted to and watched a few times last season. He has developed really well under Danny Caldecott at Trafford and we were delighted when he chose to join us for pre-season."
"Over the summer, we have been very impressed with his performances, attitude and desire to improve. We are really pleased he will be with us for the season, and we hope his progression continues at Colls!"
