The Colls can today confirm the signing of striker Declan Daniels from Burscough. The 23-year-old target man joins following an impressive start to the season for the Linnets, where he has notched 16 goals over 31 appearances, alongside three Man of the Match awards.
Declan began his career with Ipswich Town, scoring 14 goals over 28 appearances within their youth set-up, before loan spells to Lowestoft Town and Leiston. The forward then continued his development with the Robbie Fowler Education & Football Academy, which included an appearance for Warrington Town as well as winning the ECFA National Cup. Declan progressed into senior football with Winsford United, and has since also represented Citheroe, Skelmersdale and Lower Breck.
Speaking on the signing, manager Brad Cooke said: "I'm really pleased to get Dec in. He gives us something a little different up-top as a target man, he's scored plenty of goals this season and hopefully he can continue that form with us!" Article: Rob Clarke
