Atherton Collieries can confirm the signing of midfielder Harvey Gregson from AFC Fylde. Over the last two seasons, Harvey has previously impressed on loan spells at Bamber Bridge, Redditch, Bromsgrove & Prescot, before choosing to depart the Coasters at the end of last season. Whilst playing on the Fylde-coast, Harvey also played alongside Jesse Ebosele, who joined the Collieries in October 2022.
Harvey made his first Collieries appearance as Trialist #10 in last weekend's second half against Blackpool, before starting as Trialist #8 and notching the opening goal for the Stripes during yesterday's outing to Prestwich, impressing over both appearances.
Speaking on the new signing, manager David Chadwick adds: "Harvey has impressed us from his first training session. His engine, work-rate and composure on the ball will be vital in our midfield this season!"
