New Signing: Jack Evans

Atherton Collieries have bolstered their defence with the signing of Jack Evans from Radcliffe. The 21-year old defender was a near ever-present for the Borough last campaign, making 38 appearances for the Neuven Stadium outfit where he primarily operated in the right-back position, whilst also slotting in at center-half on a regular basis. Jack kept 11 clean-sheets and recorded 1 goal for the club, and also featured in their Manchester Premier Cup final triumph. A youth product of Accrington Stanley, the imposing defender has also represented Spanish club CD Colegio Claret whilst studying in Sevilla. We would all like to wish Jack a warm welcome to the Skuna Stadium. Speaking on the addition, David Chadwick adds: "Jack is exactly what we are all about. He's a versatile, strong & solid defender, who will work hard in whichever position he plays in."
