Atherton Collieries are excited to confirm the signing of Louis Myers. The striker returns to bolster the Black & Whites forward ranks following a short stint playing for Hyde United.
Louis made his initial Colls debut on Boxing Day 2019, going on to score 4 goals in 9 appearances before the 19/20 season was curtailed. A powerful forward, Louis notably scored a Colls goal of the season contender against Stalybridge with a strong far-post header, assisted by Tom Bentham. The forward has also previously played for Radcliffe Borough and FC United.
Speaking about the move, Brad Cooke said:
“I thought Louis was excellent last season, he was a real bright spark for us and notched three goals from six league starts. Unfortunately over the summer we couldn't initially agree a deal for him to stay with the club, but having gone away he's now decided he'd like to come back, and we're delighted to have him!”
