Atherton Collieries can confirm the loan signing of Zack Clarke from National League North side Chester FC, on an initial short-term deal. A hard working and quick forward who also offers a physical presence, the young striker has made his mark during a short loan stint with Clitheroe so far this season, notching three times over seven appearances for the Shawbridge club.
Speaking on the announcement, manager Bradley Cooke said:
"It’s been brewing for a while with Zack. I first spoke to Chester about his availability during the summer and we have kept an eye on him since then, and he has done well during his recent loan with Clitheroe. He will add to our forward options and certainly give us a lift!"
