News: Darr & Banister Depart

Atherton Collieries can today confirm the departures of Jordan Darr and Jack Banister. Jordan Darr has made the decision to depart the Colls due to increasing work commitments, after making six starts in ten appearances for the club this season. Darr's most notable performance came as he picked up the Man of the Match award against Bamber Bridge, a game in which he scored a quickfire first half brace en-route to a memorable 5-0 victory. Jack Banister also departs having made six league appearances for the Colls this term, with his fantastic solo goal in the aforementioned victory against Bamber Bridge being a highlight. We would like to thank both Jordan and Jack for their commitment to the club over the course of this season, and we wish them the best of luck in their future ventures.
