Atherton Collieries can announce that Michael Brewster (pictured on the right) has joined Ashton United. The midfielder made his debut for Colls away at South Shields in October and went on to make 12 appearances for the club, scoring on two occasions. He will be remembered for his late goal against Boston United which sent Colls through to the next round of the FA Trophy. His stay was short and sweet but we wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts during his time at the club.
