This evening Kyle Sambor departed the Skuna Stadium to join Widnes FC in the Pitching In Norther Premier League North/West Division.
Sambor joined the Colls this summer in a move from Witton Albion. In what was a short spell for Atherton, the forward's only goal came in dramatic fashion; an 85th minute penalty away at Grantham Town to seal the first three points of the season.
Everyone at Atherton Collieries wishes Kyle well, and thanks him for his efforts for the club over the recent months.
