Oli Roberts Departs

Sadly leaving the club this week is midfielder Oli Roberts. Joining in late 2018, Oli played a key role in our championship campaign. Opening his goal account for the club on the opening day of the season at Ashton United, Oli added to that tally in our win against Nantwich Town. We'd like to thank Oli for his efforts. Manager Micheal Clegg added: "We have let Oli join Trafford, obviously the midfield area has been strengthened this week and when you add players it always requires you to free up some space." "Oli has been brilliant for us, his 10 months has been incredible. He’s a superb footballer and an even better lad, Oli will be missed by all the squad." Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Kieran Nolan will join Northwich Victoria on a 4 week loan. “Kieran’s ban has really stalled his Colls career so far. We think he has a great future with us so he will be back with us at the end of the month” Cleggy added. "Ben Hardcastle should be fit for Saturday, Danny Lambert is 2/3 weeks away from fitness, Josh Peet possibly a month. Ian Rowlands and Matt Grimshaw, we are still unsure on how long they are out for." "We are all really happy with the additions this week and hopefully we can kick on after a start hampered by injuries and unavailability."
