Preview: Alsager Town

On Saturday, Atherton Collieries travel down to Cheshire to take on Alsager Town in the league. It promises to be an entertaining encounter with the home side keen to get all three points as they look to ease concerns of possible relegation. Meanwhile, Colls will be looking to build upon Monday's victory over Winsford to remain in third place. The reverse fixture earlier in the season saw Collieries win 4-2 thanks to a hat trick from Ben Hardcastle and a late strike from Jonathan Hurst.  Atherton's previous visit to The Town Ground was back in 2013 when they won 3-1, despite being in the division below Alsager at the time. It was a cup upset of sorts.
