Preview: Colls v Winsford

Tomorrow evening the Collieries welcome Winsford United to the Kensite Stadium as the season very tensely begins to reach its conclusion. Despite only having six games to play, quite amazingly we have yet to play Winsford this season. Indeed, we have the great pleasure of playing against them in our final run in. After a season of both ups and downs, United currently lie in twelfth place. In their most recent game they lost 1-0 against Runcorn Town in what was a very scrappy and slow paced ninety minutes of football. However, this will be no easy game for Lee Duckworth’s men have caused one or two upsets this season, most notably beating 1874 Northwich 4-0 on Boxing Day, and holding Runcorn Linnets to a 1-1 draw. Remember, your support plays a vital role in the performances, more-so now there are just six games to play and every kick matters. So, get down and cheer on the lads, after all we all love a bit of Monday night football, don’t we? Date – 10/04/17 Time – 19:45 Postcode – M46 9EY Admission - £5 adults, £3 Concession (inc. students), £1.50 Programme
