Atherton Collieries would like to wish a warm welcome to Oliver Patrick, who has today signed for the club on an initial short-term loan from Accrington Stanley. The 20-year old midfielder is already highly rated within non-league circles, following successful stints in the Northern Premier Division with Bamber Bridge and Nantwich Town last season. Oli has since made his Accrington Stanley first-team debut, with two appearances for the Reds this term.
Speaking on the new signing, David Chadwick says: "Oli has had a few spells in this league and impressed both times, he can play all across the midfield and is just what we need right now. "He has lots of energy and can pick a pass, I am sure you will be pleased with what you see!" We would like to thank Die Familie Anderson for sponsoring Oliver.
Atherton Collieries would also like to wish the best of luck to forward Mwiya Malumo, who has today departed the Skuna Stadium after 12 appearances for the club. We would like to thank Mwiya for all of his efforts, and we all wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours. Photo used with thanks to Accrington Stanley & KIPAX Photography
