Atherton Collieries can confirm that we have agreed deals to bring four players to the Skuna Stadium, bolstering the ranks ahead of the final weeks of the campaign. Anton Smith & Oliver Fannon both join the Stripes on loan from Salford City. Anton Smith is a holding midfielder with a notable passing range, whilst Ollie Fannon could be described as a pacey winger.
Meanwhile, Sky Sinclair (photographed) also joins the Black & Whites on loan from Blackpool, providing an additional option at right-back.
We can also confirm that Elliot Rokka has returned to the club following the conclusion of his loan deal at Colne.
Discussing the news, manager Brad Cooke said:
"We are delighted to get these lads over the line. We are really struggling with bodies at the minute. Danny Lafferty, Matty Gillam and Dec Daniels have long term knocks, so we needed to get bodies in as we have a lot of niggles too."
"We would like to say a massive thank you to the parent clubs Blackpool and Salford for trusting us with the development of these lads."
