Atherton Collieries have bolstered their ranks ahead of this afternoon's trip to Bamber Bridge, strengthening in midfield in a bid to solidify the recent form of 2 wins from 3 games. Experienced midfielder Scott Sephton has returned to Stripes availability for the first time this season, following a successful dual-registration with North West Counties high-flyers Pilkington.
Scott re-enters selection following 7 appearances for the Pilks, and netted the opener in Tuesday nights win against third placed Ilkley Town, in which he operated as an advanced number 10 as the Ruskin Drive outfit made a marker of their title intentions.
The midfield has been further boosted with the signing of Cesaire Lingouba, who joins from Stalybridge Celtic.
Cesaire was a key player as Witton Albion hit fine form towards the end of last season, scoring a long range effort in a crunch win against Basford, making a total of 28 appearances at Wincham Park. Cesaire had previously also represented Matlock Town alongside a first stint with Stalybridge Celtic in the Conference North.
Both players are available for today's trip to Bamber Bridge.
