Further announcements regarding further new signings will be made in the coming weeks, as and when manager Brad Cooke has finalised any potential deals. At the time of writing, the club are close to securing two additional signings, though no further comment will be issued at this time.
Prior to the start of the new campaign, the Black and Whites would also like to confirm two departures from last season’s squad – Rick Smith and Vinny Bailey. We would like to thank the pair leaving Atherton Collieries for their efforts throughout their time with the club and we wish them well for the future.
Colls’ pre-season preparations begin this coming Monday – June 28 – as we welcome Bacup Borough to the Skuna Stadium in a friendly. Kick-off is 19:30, with admission free, and tickets for our other pre-season fixtures will be available to purchase from the ground.
