Tom Bentham Signs Contract

Another massive boost for the club as we announce that Micheal Clegg has agreed a contract with last season’s top scorer Tom Bentham. Tom made his name at Hyde United in the Conference North and joined the Colls after a spell in Australia, described at the time by the manager as “a massive signing for the club”. Weighing in with 19 goals last season, including that 6 goal haul against Kendal Town, Tom quickly became an integral part of the team. Scoring vital goals that led the way to our promotion, including home and away against play-off finalists Leek Town, combined with work-rate and contribution to the team made Tom a favourite of the Colls faithful.
