Atherton Collieries can confirm the departure of Kristian Holt. The midfielder was one of Michael Clegg's first signings when he took over the managerial position in the summer of 2014. He made his competitive debut for Colls in the 5-0 victory at St Helens in the FA Cup in August 2014, going on to make 95 appearances, scoring 14 goals in just over two years at Alder House. The club would like to put on record their thanks to Kris for his commitment and hard work during his time at the club. He has been a pivotal player in recent times and helped us gain promotion into the Premier Division as well as winning the NWCFL Challenge Cup and the Bolton Hospital Cup. He leaves the club on good terms and we look forward to seeing him down at Colls matches whenever he isn't playing for his new side.
