Atherton Collieries can announce that Danny Taberner has moved to Prestwich Heys permanently. The goalkeeper moved to the NWCFL Division One side a few weeks ago and it has since been agreed that he will continue playing there, leaving Atherton Collieries after a successful two year stint. Taberner won the NWCFL Goalkeeper of the Year award during the 2014/15 season and played a crucial role in helping the club win the Division One title. He made 94 appearances for Atherton Collieries in total after his arrival from Stockport Sports in the summer of 2014.
