Atherton Collieries continue to welcome interest for a variety of volunteer and media opportunities at the Dreams2Reality Stadium, including Kit Man / Woman, Social Media Manager, and general matchday or day-to-day roles at the football club.
Kit Man / Woman
Atherton Collieries are currently looking for someone to fill the position of First Team Kit Man or Woman.
The club are searching for someone that can start at the earliest opportunity, and someone who is able to get to both home and away games throughout the season.
Responsibilities would include:
- Collecting kit and equipment from the Dreams2Reality Stadium ahead of match-days (All Saturdays and regular Tuesdays from July to May)
- Preparing the playing and warm-up kit before the game
- Helping tidy the changing rooms after a game, both home & away
- Packing all kit and equipment away and returning to the Dreams2Reality Stadium.
This is a voluntary role but is also a genuine chance for someone to get involved with and be an integral member of Atherton Collieries Football Club, as we look to compete in the NPL First Division. A valid drivers license will be required. A club kit-car, in-house washing facilities and general equipment will all be provided for availability.

Social Media Manager
Atherton Collieries Football Club are looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Media Manager to help promote the club and extend our presence across all social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Advertise all first-team matchdays and sponsorship opportunities, as well as other events at the Dreams2Reality Stadium
- Manage the day-to-day running of all our social media channels
- Create engaging content and schedule regular posts throughout the week
What we’re looking for:
- Someone creative and social media-savvy
- Availability to post and schedule content regularly and consistently
- An eye for attention to detail with spelling & grammar

We are always welcoming interest for volunteers to help with a variety of match-day or day-to-day roles at the Dreams2Reality Stadium.
Many hands make light work, and we will have roles available to suit anybody willing to help and spare a couple of hours a week to help the continued operations of our club, from matchday roles such as fundraising, ball-boys / girls and stewards, to general ground maintenance and club operations throughout the week.
