Atherton Collieries are currently looking for someone to fill the position of Kit Man at the club ahead of the 23/24 season.
The club are searching for someone that can start in July 2023 and someone who is able to get to both home and away games throughout the season.
Responsibilities would include:
- Collecting kit and equipment from the Skuna Stadium ahead of a match day
- Hanging the playing and warm-up kit out before the game
- Sitting in the dug-out during the game for general kit support with substitutions and bench jackets etc.
- Sweeping the changing rooms after a game
- Packing all kit and equipment away and returning to the Skuna Stadium
The Kit Man is NOT responsible for the cleaning of the kit as somebody at the club already does so using the inhouse washing facilities.
This is a voluntary role but is also a genuine chance for someone to get involved with and be an integral member of Atherton Collieries, a football club competing at its highest ever level and under the leadership of new manager David Chadwick.
