Everybody at the Dreams2Reality Stadium would like to wish a warm welcome to winger Will Riding.
Will joins the Collieries from Wythenshawe Town, where, alongside Tom Bentham, he enjoyed a successful season as the club went on to secure promotion to the Northern Premier League, and most notably contributed a historic boxing day hattrick against local rivals Wythenshawe FC.
After being in the youth systems of both Blackpool and Fylde, the 20-year old first gained senior experience on loan at Longridge, subsequently also continuing his development with Bamber Bridge, Charnock Richard and Ramsbottom.
Speaking on the signing, manager Michael Clegg adds:
“I’ve known Will for a while, I sorted out his move out to Wythenshawe initially as he wasn’t enjoying his footie at the time. We’ve always wanted to work together as he has tonnes of ability, but now Will needs to nail a place in the side and bring his creativity to a team that’s been lacking it, so this is a great opportunity for him!”
